Rowan enters Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway

Behind the wheel of his Longhorn Chassis No. 56 Late Model, Jonathan Rowan invaded Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Miss.) on Friday afternoon to compete with Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).

Drawing 31 cars for the 16th annual Gumbo Nationals weekend, Jonathan followed up a sixth-place showing in his heat with a sixth-to-fourth run in his B-Main. Inching forward two spots in the 30-lap preliminary feature, Rowan recorded an 18th-place outing.

On Saturday, Rowan’s fourth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the seventh row for the Gumbo Nationals finale. With $8,000 on the line, Jonathan faded three spots in the 40-lap affair to finish 17th.
