Jonathan Rowan visits Volunteer Speedway for Scorcher

Jonathan Rowan entered his Vic Hill Race Engines No. 56 Late Model into battle with the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series on Wednesday afternoon at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the 15th annual Scorcher.

With 33 Late Models on the grounds, Rowan timed in 14th-fastest in his group before placing seventh in his heat. Slated to start sixth in his B-Main for one last shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Jonathan was a scratch.
