Broken Driveshaft Ends Rowan's Night at Tazewell Speedway

On Sunday night Jonathan Rowan returned to action at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned contest. With 21 Super Late Models on hand for the Buddy Rogers Memorial, Rowan earned the pole position for the $3,000-to-win feature via preliminary events. After battling for the leading the opening laps, Jonathan suffered a broken driveshaft on lap 9 that ended his night immediately. He was credited with a 15th place outing.
